Unknown.
Head subcubical. Ocelli small, in ocellar triangle with base 1.1-1.2 times its sides. Frons flat without median keel. Occipital carina distinct, short ventral part absent. Malar suture absent. Palpi formula 6-4. Scapus short and wide, without apical lobe and basal constriction. First flagellar segment curved and distinctly longer than second segment. Mesosoma not depressed. Neck of promesosoma short and flat dorsally, unmodified; pronotal keel situated submedially. Mesonotum subvertical anteriorly, distinctly raised above pronotum. Median lobe of mesoscutum without anterolateral corners. Notauli deep and complete. Scutellum flattened. Sternauli deep, long, weakly curved, smooth in most part and crenulate in posterior 1/3. Prepectal carina distinct and curved. Propodeum with marginate areas, areola present, petiolate area long, with long flattened blunt lateral spines in distal third; propodeal bridge absent. Vein r arising from the middle of pterostigma. Marginal cell not shortened. Veins 2RS and r-m present on fore wings. Vein 3CU not interstitial, arising from anterior 2/5 of distal margin of first subdiscal cell. First subdiscal cell closed apically. Vein m-cu of hind wing present, oblique and directed to base of wing. Vein M+CU of hind wing 0.6-0.7 times vein 1M. Fore tibia with numerous slender spines arranged in narrow band. Hind coxa small without basoventral tooth and corner. Hind tibia with 3-4 spines on outer distal margin and with 3 transverse rows of very dense setae on inner distal part. Fijispathius differs from Doryctopambolus by the fore wing first subdiscal cell closed and the first metasomal segment petiolate with basal sternal plate more than 0.6 length of first tergite [1]. It is similar to Spathius but differs in having long propodeal spines [2].
