Head subcubical; ocelli small and in almost equilateral triangle; antennal sockets situated very closely, sometimes with internal margin almost fused; occipital carina present; eyes glabrous; postgenal bridge narrow; palpi formula 6-4; scape long and narrow, with distinct apical lobe, marginated by 2 strong lateral carinae which are widely separated; first flagellar segment weakly curved or straight, longer or sometimes shorter than second segment; anterior mesonotum curving posteriorly, distinctly raised above pronotum; notauli usually shallow or sometimes deep, complete; prepectal carina present; sternaulus distinct and deep, almost straight; propodeum without marginated areas; propodeal tubercles and bridge absent; fore tibia with strong spines arranged almost in single row; hind coxa with basoventral corner and without tooth; hind basitarsus 0.8-0.9 times as long as segments 2-5 combined; fore wing marginal cell slightly shortened; 2RS and r-m present; second submarginal cell short; 1m-cu almost interstitial; 1cu-a interstitial or postfurcal; first subdiscal cell closed distally; 3CU arising from posterior 1/3-1/4 of distal margin of first subdiscal cell; hind wing subbasal cell short; m-cu present; basal cell wide distally; RS arising from R; marginal cell without r; first metasomal tergite with large dorsope; acrosternite 0.15-0.2 times as long as tergite; second tergite with deep curved basal furrow separating basal semicircular area; second suture of female distinct, almost straight or weakly curved laterally; third tergite with distinct transverse weakly curved furrow in basal third; ovipositor longer than metasoma, usually as long as body [1].
