Head subcubical. Ocelli placed on highly elevated transverse part of vertex. Frons weakly concave. Occipital carina complete at most part, not fused with hypostomal carina being obliterated for rather long distance upper base of mandible. Malar suture absent. Postgenal bridge rather wide. Maxillary palpi 6-segmented, labial palpi 4-segmented. Scapus short and wide, without apical lobe. First flagellar segment widened, curved, flat and smooth on outer side, coarsely transversally rugose and partly with granulation on inner side, equal to or slightly longer than second segment. Mesonotum rather highly and almost perpendicularly raised above pronotum. Notauli deep , wide and complete. Sternauli deep, long, and straight. Prepectal carina distinct and complete. Propodeum without delineated by carinae areas and propodeal bridge. Radial cell of fore wing not shortened. Both radiomedial veins present. Recurrent vein interstitial or postfurcal. Parallel vein arising before middle of distal margin of brachial cell. Brachial cell closed. Submedial cell of hind wing small; recurrent vein present. Fore and middle tibiae with numerous small spines arranged in almost one row. Hind coxa without basoventral tooth. Hind tibia with 3-6 spines on dorsal margin. Hind basitarsus 0.6-0.7 times as long as segments 2-5 combined. First metasomal tergite wide and rather short, with distinct dorsope. Acrosternite about 0.25 times as long as first tergite. Second suture complete, distinctly broken laterally. Second tergite with distinct median U-Shape or subround area delineated by wide furrows. Ovipositor longer than metasoma. Apical part of ovipositor with 2 small dorsal nodes and serrate ventrally [1], [2]..

It is closely related to Doryctophasmus but is distinguished by the presence of U-shape furrow on second metasomal tergite, the parallel vein which is not interstitial, the mesoscutum which is almost perpendicularly raised above pronotum, the hind wing of male without stigma-like enlargement [1].
