Abstract:
The genus Psenobolus Reinhard, 1885 (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Doryctinae) is revised and six new species are described and illustrated. As far as is known the species live as inquilines in galled flowers inside the syconia of the genus Ficus subgenus Urostigma section Americana only, the males are known to fight with each other.
Note:
Psenobolus plesiomorphus have been transfered to the genus Plesiopsenobolus in 2014 [1].
