Abstract:

One new genus and seven new species belonging to the Fam. Braconidae have been described. The new genus, Spathioplites nov. gen., is closely related with the Plathyspathius-group within the Subfam. Spathiinae. The new species Hecabalodes ruguloscolyti n. sp. (Iran), and Hecabalodes xylphagi n. sp. (French Equat. Africa) have been described. Descriptions of the following five species are given: Spathioplites phreneticus n. sp. (French Equat. Africa), Phanerotoma pyrodercis n. sp. (Senegal), Opius coffeae n. sp. (Congo), Apanteles epinotiae n. sp. (Austria), and Eubadizon ratzeburgi (Austria). Distinguishing features from the closely related species have also been enumerated.
