Body length 2.5-5.0 mm; diameter of oral opening less than length of malar space; eye small, malar space about 2/3 eye height, temple greater than eye width; 14-22 antennomeres; occipital carina meeting hypostomal carina; notauli and sternaulus distinct, scrobiculate; propodeum without distinct carinae dorsally; fore wing with vein r-m absent, cell 2CU open at apex, vein 2cu-a absent and veins 2-CU and 3-CU nearly on straight line; hind wing with CU absent; first metasomal segment as long as apical width, basal width 1/3 apical width; ovipositor nearly as long as body [1].

It looks like superficially to Hecabolus but is distinguished by the wing venation with r-m absent in the fore wing, the absence of a tooth at the base of hind coxa, and the hind femur not being swollen [1].
