Small size, 3.0-4.5 mm; occipital carina meeting or occasionally not quite reaching hypostomal carina; mesoscutum declivous anteriorly; pronotal collar very short, less than half length of first flagellomere; metasoma not petiolate, first tergum slightly wider at apex than at base, basal sternal plate 0.25 length of tergum, dorsope deep; second tergum with converging grooves from base forming triangular median area; third tergum with transverse scrobiculate groove; fore tibia with scattered row of 1-15 stout spines along anterior edge; hind coxa with small but distinct tubercle at base; fore wing vein r-m absent, first subdiscal cell open at apex, vein M+CU straight, not sinuate; hind wing vein M+CU shorter than vein 1M, male with a small stigma in hind wing [1].

Marsh [1] has seen one specimen form Costa Rica but not describe it.
