Unknown.
Body length, 2.5-4.5 mm; propodeum medially at base with a laterally flattened lamella which projects dorsally; hind coxa with very small indistinct antero-ventral basal tooth; fore wing vein r-m absent, first subdiscal cell closed, vein 2-1A meeting 1CU before m-cu, vein 1cu-a present; hind wing vein cu-a absent, vein 1A short and indistinct; fore tibia with row of 4-7 stout spines along anterior edge; first metasomal segment with basal sternal plate about 0.25 length of tergum, dorsope distinct and deep; male metasoma elongated, often more than twice as long as mesosoma, due to telescoping and extension of segments 4-7 [1].
Head cuboid, occipital carina present, clypeus semi-circularly emarginate and together with mandibles forming a circular mouth opening; fore tibia with row of 6-8 stout spines along anterior edge; propodeum medially at base with a laterally flattened lamella which projects dorsally; forewing with two cubital cells, recurrent vein ending at first cubital cell, nervulus present, first brachial cell closed at apex well before recurrent vein; hind wing without nervullus; male abdomen elongated, often more than twice as long as thorax, due to telescoping and extension of segment 4-7 [2].

Similar to Aivalykus in wing venation and elongation of the male metasoma but is distinguished by the unusual lamella projecting dorsally from the propodeum [1], [2].
It is similar to Spathioplites but the lamella-like structure of Spathioplites arises from the postscutellum rather than from propodeum as in Bohartiellus. Furthermore, it has two cubital cells in the fore wing whereas Spathioplites has three [2].
