Small size 2.5-4.0 mm; face somewhat protruding at the antennal sockets, antenna arising from shelf; occipital carina not meeting hypostomal carina; oral opening small, circular; pronotoal collar lengthened behind head; mesoscutum not declivous anteriorly, gently curved to pronotum; most of mesosoma smooth and polished, propodeum occasionally rugulose; fore tibia with single row of small stout spines along anterior edge; hind coxa with small but distinct basal tubercle; fore wings banded, vein r-m present, second submarginal cell lenghtened beyond apex of stigma, first subdiscal cell open at apex, vein 2-CU nearly on the same line as vein 1CU; hind wing vein M+CU twice as long a vein 1M, vein RS absent; first metasomal tergum petiolate, length about twice apical width, basal sternal plate 0.5 length of tergum, dorsope weak and shallow [1].

This genus is similar to Callihormius but is distinguished by the lengthened second submarginal cell of the fore wing, the mostly smooth body and the flat scutellum [1].
