Body length 7.0-8.0 mm; oral opening moderate sized, diameter about equal in length of malar space; eye moderate size, malar space 1/2 eye height, temple 2/3 eye width; 40-44 antennomeres; occipital carina meting hypostomal carina; mesonotum slightly declivous anteriorly; notauli distinct, scrobiculate; sternaulus complete, scrobiculate; propodeum horizontal, without distinct carinae of areola; hind coxa with distinct basal tooth; fore wing with parastigma swollen and longer than vein r, cell 1-2RS short, vein 3-RS only slightly longer than r, cell 2CU open at apex, vein 2cu-a absent; hind wing with vein M+CU longer than 1-M, vein r-m 1/3 length of 1-M and equal to length of 2-SC+R; first metasomal segment length equal to or slightly greater than apical width; ovipositor nearly as long as body [1].

It is distinguished by its unusually large, swollen and bright yellow parastigma in the fore wing [1].

Neotropical. Marsh [1] have seen specimens from Argentina which represent 1-2 new species.
