Small to moderate size, 2.5-5.0 mm; oral cavity wide and oval, transverse, width 4 times length of malar space, clypeus narrow; occipital carina meeting hypostomal carina; mesoscutum declivous anteriorly, at right angle with pronotum; mesosoma mostly smooth and polished, propodeum with distinct carinae; basal sternal plate of first metasomal segment 0.0.25-0.5 length of tergum, dorsope distinct, metasomal terga 2+3 with two transverse smooth or scrobiculate groves; fore tibia with scattered row of 10-12 stout spines along anterior edge; hind coxa with distinct basal tubercle; fore wing vein r-m present, vein r short and angled so it is nearly on same line as vein 3RSa, first subdiscal cell open at apex; hind wing vein M+CU shorter than 1M, vein m-cu weakly curved toward apex [1].
