Head more or less transverse or subcubical; ocellar triangle with base larger than its sides or as an equilateral triangle; frons not concave and without keel; eyes glabrous; occipital carina complete, fused with hypostomal carina; postgenal bridge very narrow; palpi formula 6-4; scape thick and short, without apical lobe; first flagellar segment shorter than second one or equal to it; anterior surface of mesonotum subvertical, distinctly raised above pronotum; notauli sculptured, complete deep, sometimes shallow posteriorly; metascutum with short pointed tooth; sternaulus shallow, long, almost straight, and crenulate; prepectal carina distinct; propodeum with marginated basolateral areas, usually with areola; lateral tubercles and propodeal bridge absent; fore and middle tibiae with numerous small dispersed spines; hind coxa with basoventral corner and tooth; all femora with small dorsal protuberances; hind basitarsus 0.6-0.85 times as long as segments 2-5 combined; fore wing marginal cell not shortened; 2RS and r-m present; 1m-cu antefurcal, rarely almost interstitial; 1cu-a postfurcal; 3CU not interstitial, arising from anterior 1/3 of distal margin of first subdiscal cell; first subdiscal cell closed and narrow; hind wing cu-a present; subbasal cell small; m-cu present, but finely sclerotised; basal cell narrow or wide; RS arising from R; marginal cell without r; first metasomal tergite not petiolate, wide; acrosternite about 0.25 times as long as first tergite; dorsope of first tergite distinct; second suture distinct and straight; second tergite with almost straight transverse furrow in basal 1/3; sometimes fourth or fifth tergites slightly enlarged; ovipositor longer than metasoma [1].
