Parasitoids of beetle larvae in the families Bostrichidae, Anobiidae and Scolytidae (Marsh, 2002).
Small to median size, 3.0-5.0 mm; head cubical, occipital carina meeting hypostomal carina; mesoscutum declivous anteriorly; propodeum declivous posteriorly, horizontal surface nearly at right angle to apical surface; basal sternal plate of first tergum 0.25 length of tergum, dorsope present but weak; hind coxa with weak but distinct basal tubercle; fore tibia with irregular row of 10-15 stout spines along anterior edge; hind femur swollen, 2.5 times as long as wide, middle femur somewhat swollen, about 3 times as long as wide; fore wing r-m absent, first subdiscal cell open at the apex, vein 2cu-a absent, stigma short and broad; hind wing vein M+CU longer than vein 1M [1].
