Head subcubical; ocellar triangle with base larger than its sides; eyes glabrous; occipital carina present, reduced ventrally and not fused with hypostomal carina; postgenal bridge wide; palpi formula 6-4; scape wide and short, without apical lobe; first flagellar segment curved, smooth on outer side, rugose on inner side, shorter than second segment; neck of promesosoma short, almost flat dorsally; pronotal keel absent; anterior surface of mesonotum subvertical, distinctly raised above pronotum; notauli present and distinct, shallo posteriorly; sternaulus distinct, long, straight; prepectal carina present; postpectal carina present medially; propodeum without marginate areas; lateral tubercles and propodeal bridge absent; fore tibia with sparse large spines arranged in almost single row; hind coxa without basoventral corner and tooth; hind tibia with several thick spines along dorsal surface; hind basitarsus 0.6 x as long as segments 2-5 combined; fore wing marginal cell not shortened; 2RS and r-m present; 1m-cu postfrucal; 1cu-a postfurcal; 3CU interstitial; first subdiscal cell closed before 1m-cu; hind wing cu-a present; subbasal cell short; m-cu present, oblique toward base of wing;basal cell narrow apically; RS arising from R; marginal cell without r; in male hind wing without stigma-like enlargement; first metasomal tergite not petiolate, wide, with distinct dorsope; acrosternite about 0.2 times as long as tergite; second suture present and straight; second tergite without furrows or defined areas; ovipositor not longer than metasoma [1].
One specimen form India (Leiden museum) has the occipital carina clearly meeting hypostomal carina.
