This genus has the body dorso-ventrally flattened like the genus Platydoryctes [1]. But the type species differs from them by the absence of fore wing vein r-m, the petiolate first metasomal segment with its sternal plate nearly as long as tergum. The same characters separate it also from Callihormius. It could be also separated from Tarasco by its face not swollen.
